Why risk the hassle thou^^ Hopefully you wont have any problems..Congrats.

I'm barely made of $1300, let alone ~6-700 more for the same exact thing. A new lens of sorts wouldn't hurt either. I've flashed my 5100 to use 3rd party batteries which was an even bigger risk of the past, so why not? :D

Will do. Scouted around NikonCafe, and a few members used the free repair nikon posted, successfully, so safety net is far and wide, but hopefully the bod had all that sorted out whenever it was refurbed before.

No dust/oil/whatever whatsoever and instead of the stock plastic screen guard the seller threw in a 2nd chinese battery, which I can definitely use much more for the first few days. Else, messing around with buttons, settings, etc etc etc. Definitely a proper body for my further growth and the lens isn't half bad indeed.
