Trim = brilliant

I am still a novice with DSLR - D3200.

I was messing around with my camera and found the TRIM setting, how you can take a photo and cut out any bits you do not want.

Not sure what Trim setting is but seems like all it did was crop.

In camera trim is just another word for crop.

Same thing mate.

I prefer to do all the work out of camera since the resolution is so much better than the back screen - but it's nice to have to tools right there if you need it.

I like that your thinking of ways to improve and enhance your photos. But everyone is right,you will get much better results importing them to a computer and editing them there. Even a simple program like I Photo will let you do amazing things with your photos. Just keep at it.

Also the disk that came with the camera has a program on it called ViewNX2 and will crop and a lot more. Load it up and play with it. Brightness, contrast, shadow, sharpness and a lot more. Fun to play with. Just be sure to save as a different name so you don't lose your original.
