Some Deer Pics

Last Spring I stopped by the river just in time to see a doe swim across it.
Just so happen to have my new at that time 70-300 with me and got to see what it could do.
I forgot I had these till I started going through some old photos the other night.

Cool shots! I get a kick out of the posing for a shot after the swim! Lol

I wonder if that Deer has gills. Never seen a deer like that in the water, haha. Cool catch.

The first image are so beautiful. The sun light hitting the water, makes it look so dreamy. Also crazy about the colors, is that how your lens do colors or have you done something in PP?

Thanks for the compliments guys. I've seen them walk across this river many times when the water was low but this was the first time I've ever seen a deer swim.
WUD this was taken in the spring time when everything is nice and lush. But I'm sure
I saturated it a bit, I seem to over do sometimes with the slider.

Thanks! I was lucky to get there just in time, even more so that I actually had my camera with me.

I had a dyslexic moment and read this as " Some BEER Pics " ! Oh well next time :surprise: ! Nice Deer photos

Lucky Buck....

I spotted this guy mid hunting season this past year, he's lucky because he was on my neighbors property and not mine. If on mine it would have been Winchester instead of Nikon taking the shot. It was early morning and foggy so I had to use high ISO. (Bad with a D3100 @300mm) It was fun watching him in full rut chasing doe's around anyway.
