New from Michigan

Hey guys,

My name is Charlotte, and Ive been into photography as a hobby for a little while now but just decided to join a forum for it! Im 22 and live in Michigan, I have a Nikon D600 as my main camera and a Nikon D5100 for backup. My favorite lens is my Nikon 85mm f1.8! Nature photography, macro photography and portrait photography are my favorites (and not necessarily in that order) :p

I love getting new lenses, and I practically dont need anything else, but ive been considering getting a 70-200... but it seems too heavy for every day use... I just sold my Sigma 150 prime w/macro and was hoping to replace it with the 70-200, what are your thoughts on this lens? :)

Welcome and I was going to suggest the same as Jim above, look at the f/4 version. One of my favorites and pretty much stays on my D600 all the time.
