Mom and Daughter

This young mom and daughter (names withheld by request) were kind enough to let me get some shots of them recently and were taken for someone else, actually, who makes and sells the crocheted hats and scarves you see them both wearing.

Working with people on this level is not my forte, but I can certainly see how it could become a photographic addiction because it was a LOT of fun. Any feedback you want to leave would be appreciated, though it's not required.

I can when I get home tonight... I posted those from my work computer and not every image is in the folder on this computer.

Very nice pictures. Only suggestion... maybe a flash on really low setting/bounce card to get a little catch-light.

Nice looking models, good positions (postures). As for the composition and lighting, black&whites are OK, though you could brighten them slightly. Those two colors shots, especially the second one (mom and daughter together) should have been done with slightly stronger background blur (but it can be corrected in post processing). Here you've got a little bit of motion blur, because the girl made a sudden movement, but that how it is with the children - most delicate "objects" for any photographer...

The black and white version is nice. But I like this even more. Very good pictures!
