v1 with sb-n7 not working

hello all

i just bought a flash for my v1 it is a sb-n7 it doesnt flash when i take a pic... the ready light only goes on when the camera is off. i did look in the camera settings for flash i didnt see anything

my firmware version is 1.20. i hope i gave enough info.

Just guessing, but the Ready light makes it sound more like the flash is not seated properly or well in its shoe?

Yeah, what Wayne said. Even if the camera wasn't in a flash mode the ready light should be on...
