Question About Mirror Up Mode

I fully understand how to use MUP, but I have a very specific question about it. I already know how to set up MUP, press the remote once to raise the mirror, then press the remote again to fire the shutter.

Is there any way to set up a D600\D610 so that the mirror goes up, then a specific time interval times out (say two seconds), then the shutter releases, then the mirror goes back down?

I'm lazy, what can I say! ;)

It might be possible. I learned something the other day, when you press to lift the mirror the shutter will fire automatically after 25 seconds if you don't press it a second time. So it might be possible to change that interval.

In the D menus there is something called Exposure Delay Mode. When engaged it will raise the mirror and then wait 1, 2 or 3 seconds and then fire the shutter and lower the mirror. It works regardless of what mode the command dial is in, so you can use it either with the remote or by pressing the button manually.
