35mm 1.8G

Being that ive owned the 35 1.8g and just recently traded it at my local store..(For the 50mm 1.8g).....I would say opt for the newish 28mm 1.8g...This is a sharper lens and will give you a better spread in focal length on the DX...Also as a FX lens you will be able to keep it if you ever go full frame..I know the 28mm is more expensive..But the 35mm 1.8 just wasn't wide enough on the dx format..You already have the 50mm 1.8g which is sharper..Food for thought..Been there done that.

Oh yes, I'm on fx, so guess 28mm would give more or less the same view. Haven't tried 28mm though.

About the 50mm, mine are pretty slow.

I just wasn't thrilled with the 35mm 1.8g...Feel as if all of my lenses need to be as equally sharp..Give or take..The 35mm was just lacking..I am enjoying my 50mm 1.8g a lot better...Here is a shot with the 50mm 1.8g even with high Iso...
