So the D600 and a F4 have a baby...

haha. Alright, so the D610 and F4... no dust. I've had "knock on wood" good luck so far with the dust. Had to blow off the sensor a few times, but no wet (since I don't know how) cleaning yet.

dust and oil sensor was due to a manufacturing defect in the shutter. There was a gap that was out of spec... allowed oils to splatter on the anti aliasing filter. The dust was due to that gap as well... plus on a few shutters the gap made the shutter blades rub and flake stuff off and landing on the filter. I don't think you will see that same defect in future cameras... but as usual I maybe be wrong :) Wish I could trade my d600 in for the d610... but that won't happen. I'm going to carefully look at this Df since the style seems to peak my interest. I'll rent it first though... s

It has that old school look, with new school functionality. I would love to give one a shot and see how it feels/acts. Can't beat that classic look.
