For those of us on the East Coast USA, or in large swaths of other parts of the world, there is a solar eclipse occurring on Sunday. For folks on the East Coast we will only get part of it, but it's worth seeing nonetheless. My plan is to try and photograph it provided the weather and the eastern horizon cooperate (it will be visible for about the first hour of sunrise).

I was going to post requesting advice on how to capture it, but then this popped up linked on my Facebook wall. So for anyone else looking to capture the event on Sunday, here you go.

That's like 6:30am with the clock change! And I have a big hill with houses to the east. If I drive beyond the hill, then I have mountains to deal with. Can't they start a little later?:sorrow:
