This thread is for quick, one line tips. Easy to remember for everyone.

I will start off.

Better to have a noisy photo than a blurry one, crank up the ISO when needed.

Ummmm.......f8 and be there (sorry, that's all I have in stolen one liners)

Despite how badly you might wish it were otherwise no amount of post-processing can compensate for poor composition.

Good composition without proper post-processing is like Ansel Adams sending his enlargements to Photomat.

the simpler the system the more likely you are to use it

Models are better over exposed than under developed.

Format your card In the camera, not in the computer.

It ain't the camera that found that fantastic shot.

For handheld shots shutter speed should equal or exceed the focal length of the lens being used.

Remember to take the lens cap off!?

Any stabilization will improve a shot (especially macro). Lean against a tree, use your arms like a bipod, monopod, tripod, etc...

When in doubt, RTFM! (Read the f***in' manual!
