I live a somewhat Bohemian lifestyle at the moment, spending months away from home, in a camper van parked beside a canal. It gets me away from the hassle of city life and allows me to enjoy the pleasures of the countryside, with the attached wildlife. I've been adopted by a number of local cats and being the softy that I am, I put out food for them.
This evening I got back late from work and went outside to feed a couple of my "children" but, on putting down my hand, I felt something prickly. A torch revealed it to be a hedgehog. Since I got the camera back in May I've been working on the basis of a new species a week. This is just the latest.
