Hi from Durham

Hello, I'm a DSLR newbie who has happened across this site (lucky for me) and am looking forward to learning all about my new toy from some experienced members!

I have just bought a D3100 and instantly realized how little I know.... But with time, patients and some guidance I'm sure I'll soon be getting the most out of my camera!

Guidelines to adding a photo to your post.

1. Resize photo to 1000px on the long side.
2. Resolution set to 72ppi (Pixels Per Inch)

These guidelines will be good for viewing on a computer but will not be good for printing. This will help safeguard your copyright.
