New D5100 shooter

Great to discover this thread. I got my d5100 at the end of last year and its been a slow process of learning but I've found Flickr challenges a good way of learning and making myself try new things. I have found an excellent challenge called #FlickrFriday run by the Flickr staff in which they select the best to feature on the Flickr blog.

Today's challenge is 'Up Close' which you can find at http://flickr.com/groups/2091880@N25.
