Hi, I'm new!

Hi, I'm new here. I got a Nikon D3100 for Christmas, and I am trying to learn how to use it. I've only ever used a point & shoot camera before.

I took an online Digital 101 course, and am getting ready to start 102, so I am growing more familiar with my camera. At least, the pictures that I take now look how I expected them to look, for the most part. :topsy_turvy:

I live in Ohio, I work for the state of Ohio, I've been married for almost 18 years, and we have three kids, ages 14, 11, and 2(!).

I'm excited to join the forum, and I look forward to getting to know you.

Guidelines to adding a photo to your post.

1. Resize photo to 1000px on the long side.
2. Resolution set to 72px

These guidelines will be good for viewing on a computer but will not be good for printing. This will help safeguard your copyright.
