formatting card

have a pny 32 gb card,have 276 pict on it uploaded them to view2x. then reformatted the card the camera manual said the pictures would be deleted. but they are still there is it a camera problem?

Did you by any chance flip the little switch to protect the card?

don't know if they are locked.
​also did it so i put them in folders.

Is there a little lock icon on the photo? If so, then it's locked and you won't be able to delete it until you remove the lock.

Yes there is a lock on it.
For the D7100 what do I do to unlock it? I didn't even know I had it locked. Don't know how to do that. Thanks

thanks all for the help just saw the little key and turned it off. so pictures are unlocked
