whats up everyone

after deciding to go from canon to nikon, i bought a nikon d80

so far im loving my d80
and hopefully upgrade my lens soon and get more nikon lenses

(its a sigma 24-70 f/2.8-4)

The D80's a decent enough mid-grade body and will serve you well.
I'm happy with mine, but always looking to upgrade at a decent price point.

If you have any questions I'm sure there is someone here that can help you with answers. That lens, if it's the Sigma 24-70 mm f/2.8 EX DG HSM, then its a full frame lens. Using it on a D80, which is a DX body, you effectively have a 48-140mm lens. It gives you the advantage of being able to upgrade at some point to a full frame body or stay with a DX. When you complete five forum posts you will be able to up load to your gallery. We would like to see some of your work.

yes i love my d80, it is an awesome camera

the sigma however is f/2.8-4 lens not the f/2.8 with the hsm sadly...

Welcome to the site, I have a D80 myself, great camera add a bit of glass and you will be set .
