Focus to Infinity

How do I focus at infinity if it's at night.?

Try setting your camera to manual focus. Then turn the focussing ring on the lens all the way over. This is usually all the way to the right as you hold the camera to your eye. If in doubt which way to turn it try it out in daylight when you can see what you are doing.

double check in daylight, some newer lens don't have the infinity lock, but more like a shade less than max to be clearest. it can vary with lens,

the old manual lens, were easier. just rotate and lock.

If you can see the moon, focus on that.
Turn the focus ring each way until the moon is at it's smallest, then you are focussed to infinity... and beyond!

It is not like the old lenses. You CAN NOT turn all the way to get to infinity. Auto focus lenses need to be able to go past the focus point in either direction to focus. Some lenses have the infinity mark and some don't. Depends on your lens.
