Feedback or Suggestions in framing a photograph

Hello,
I would like to know if you have any samples or suggestions in choosing the right frame for this picture i took. Thanks for your help and suggestions.

The first thing I would do is to Photoshop out the leather Jesses so it would look like a wild Eagle instead of a trained captive one.

Yes, that was what I was planning for to take out that leather. What about ideas of framing it?

What size print do you plan on getting? In terms of color and style of the frame I tend to coordinate the frame itself with the room. I wouldn't put a light colored frame with a dark picture - maybe a lighter mat though. That combination makes photos pop a little more.

Concur with the dark frame. I like the black wood frames from framedestination.com. Mats usually look best if they bring out a secondary color in the image (as in not the dominant color). Maybe a nice gray, or gray with a blue hint to it?
