Hahnel Battery Grip

Could anyone give me any info on this battery grip, any better than third party or Nikon own.i have read product info but would prefer someone who has used it.

Nothing beats the Nikon grip other than the price of the third party grips. That's not to say that the 3rd. party grips are not good.....they're just not as good as the real thing. Simple as that.

I own the Meike grip for my D7000. It's obviously not built as rugged like the Nikon one. If you have the money, then definitely buy the Nikon grip. For me, I don't shoot portaits enough to justify the cost of the Nikon grip, so I went with the Meike one. It's made of plastic, but it functions just fine for my needs.

I own the Meike grip as well, and have no problems with it.
