Thanks, all! And yes, these were shot with a tripod. My biggest challenge was wind. Even the slightest breeze kept the chamomile moving making it difficult to spot-focus on the critters.
I was on my way to work when I spotted this spider in one of our boxwoods. I ran in the house, grabbed the camera and my 55mm f/2.8 Micro Nikkor and shot this image. The spider was pretty small, no more than an inch from the tip of its front legs to the tips of its rear legs. The image is not particularly sharp unfortunately, because I took it handbeld at around 1/60 second. The next morning, both the web and spider were gone.
