Been lurking for a couple of months trying to learn the ropes so figured now is a good time to say Hi!
A recent D5100 purchase has me back into photography & all I can say is there are a lot of buttons on these things eh?!
Been working on the basics e.g. trying to get things in focus & messing around with some DOF - have put a few photos in a members album (under Oldin) & would welcome feedback on some of the elements - the good, bad & ugly! I tried to attach one sample to this message but if that fails (or for future reference) what's the best way to request some of this feedback from members?
Otherwise, I'm looking forward to the weather breaking (last of the snow is just going) & getting out to shoot some more pictures & start the learning process - hope you people are ok with questions because I have a feeling I'll be asking a lot!
