exposure

Hello
I accidently set my camera up incorrectly. When i take a picture the camera stores 2 images, 1 is properly exposed the other is identical but underexposed. Can anyone help me correct this?

Sounds like you turned on bracketing. There is a BRKT button onthe left side of the camera. You should be able to hold the BRKT button in and use the main command dial to scroll to (of 1.0). That will get you back to normal shooting/ bracketing off.

Bracketing should be discussed in your manual.

Yeah, sounds like you have bracketing on, set for 2 shots if you have two different sequence numbers (like DSC_1020 and DSC_2021 for example). But if you have 2 files the identical with the same file names, I suspect as Nikonpup suggested, that you are saving your images in both jpg and raw format.
