Mum's 'wild' birds

We visited Mum for Easter, and part of the little ritual is sitting outside feeding the birds that come in around 3pm each day. There's quite an array now - and the backyard is looking a little worse for wear because of the numbers sometimes. I thought some of you would be interested in seeing some Australian birds - with apologies to all the other Aussies here!

I've heard there are some beautiful "birds" in Australia, but I was expecting to see some beach bunny scenes. Drat! Oh well, the feathered ones look great anyway!

Yes - I've tracked it down now. It's my domain host, Bluehost, that's down. Again.

It is also called the Rose-breasted Cockatoo here in the US. Most of those birds are called by many names it different parts of the world.
No matter what you call it is still a beautiful bird and great shot.
