D700 viewfinder focus point

I just noticed that the focus point in my viewfinder is high to the focus point I see on the computer. I've never noticed this before but really paid no attention to it until now. The small red square is about 1/2 of the square off. If I focuses on this O the bottom of the square would cut the O in half.
The pull center should be centered.
