Aquarium shots

Can anyone give me some advise on setting for my camera for good aquarium shots? I have a Nikon D60 with a Nikon DX AF-S 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 G lens.

I think the number one piece of advice for an aquarium shooter is burst mode...fish are the most uncooperative subjects in the world so you have to fire multi burst at them to get the great "poses"...

Always hold the camera right up on the glass or at an angle to the glass is probably #2.

Keep the camera around the tank maybe sitting in front of it on a tripod to get the fish used to it....when you feed them have the camera hanging around your neck... :)

Shoot without a flash and use an overhead light mounted near the aquarium. That way you can angle the light just right to minimize reflection and turn off all of the room lights as well. As mentioned, shoot as close to the glass a possible. Remember to adjust the white balance setting on your camera to tungsten or indoor lighting (if it has that option).
