First bag - D3100

Hi guys

Looking for some advise here please, I have a D3100 and I am looking to buy a Tamron 70-300mm f4-5.6 Di VC USD. I have also been looking for a bag such as the Lowepro Slingshot 202 AW, could anyone please advice me if the d3100 with the 70-300 lens on the body would fit in this bag. If this would not any advise on a similar setup that would work ( this would be my first bag ).

Yes, it will fit. That is a very good bag. You'll have plenty of room for other lens and gear too.

Yes that big bag for that setup, however it never hurts to have the extra room.

hi jado1 i have the d3100 with 18-55 and 55-300 lens in the lowepro aw200 i have enough room for cables, charger,speed flash and a few filters now am out of room im looking at the aw400 or aw500 hope that helps mine is the aw200 flipside

Great choice. I carry my D40, 18-55, 55-200, 50mm & SB-700 in my A101 slingshot. You'll have no issues.

Thankyou for all your input, so it looks like I will be getting the Lowepro Slingshot 202aw for walks as it will hold the d3100 with the 70-300 lens on body. I have also been thinking of getting one of the Lowepro Nova bags to hold all my gear for home.
