Noob lens question: olympus zuiko 135mm f3.5

Will the olympus zuiko 135mm f3.5 fit my D3100?

I have "offered" it up but I only got the camera today so I don't want to force it and damage it.

If not are there any adapters I can get?

I doubt it, not without an adapter. I don't think Olympus and Nikon share the same lens mount system. I know they didn't back in my film days, so I would be surprised if you could just pop that lens on your d3100.

That's a shame, would you have an idea what adapter I would require?

No, but you could "do the Google" and see if anyone makes them. I know there are some adapters out there for some lens mounts, so you may just get lucky. Let us know what you find.

There are some adapter for some of the lenses but it means removing parts off the lens and modifying them. I have many OM style lenses that I would love to use like a 1.2 50mm but after reading about the adapters I decided it was not worth the effort

You can get some good lenses with the big sale that starts sometime in the next few days at Midnight, somewhere... haha.

I'm currently looking at ebay for lenses as well to increase my kit.
I did hunt on google but it makes it slightly difficult when you are unsure of what you are buying.

I going to take a look at your links now, but then my new camera and I are off out for a test drive :excitement:
