Hello from NZ

Hello everyone. I have been reading many of the threads and learning a lot.
Have always been keen on taking good images, mainly for my own enjoyment.
All my previous cameras have been Canon Point n Shoot with the latest being the G11.
Taking a leap into DSLR I decided to go Nikon after many recommendations from family and friends.
Today I received an almost new (2980 shots) D90 with 18-200VR f3.5-5.6.
Big learning curve to come but look forward to the challenge.

Which part of NZ are you from? I have been only the north Island but want to visit the south eventually.

Im in Napier, Hawkes Bay. Best part of the country but I could be biased.
Unfortunately I cant claim any of those photos as they were by previous owner. My wife and I are actually on a cruise around Tasmania in 3 weeks time out of Sydney so I hope to have some great images when we get home.

You will love Tassie, I lived there for 15yrs
