I don't think we really have an equipment porn thread...which I cannot believe really...

Well I'm so weird sometimes I sit around and take pictures of my cameras...talk about get a life! LOL

So if you are weird like this also please throw up some snaps of your gear. If you get something new take a picture of it and post it.

Well if its a Porn thread then we must have some wood though I understand that getting the wood is not a problem these days with Viagra.

So here we are some wood..I always take this bit of kit with me on every shoot....its a 3/8 x 9 x12 bit of ply ...but whats it for...??? Well we dont want to look at boring cameras do we?

How many of you have got one of these ..the 8mm 186 degree fisheye?
Note that the circle is not centred in the frame as a DX sensor is not centred on the optical axis of the lens ( why?)

As the wooden item in my other post is used at a wedding I have started a thread under Weddings with some clues as to its use and later some other usefull items to take with you,

This is my gear as it is at the moment; shot taken with the D40 and 18-55 lens. Two monopods and the Manfrotto 055 tripod flanking the sides. D40 mounted on a Hi-Ace 400 (now Slik) tripod.

If I went back to Italy, or someplace like that, my kit would contain:

D800

SB400 flash

24mm f/2.8

24-85mm VR

50mm f/1.8

All the memory cards I own.

That equates to not much weight, fills all my potential needs, and fits in my smaller LowePro 200AW.

This is the whole big kit......
