Newcomer

Hi everybody.I am a newcomer from South Africa with a Nikon connection since Fe and FE2 times.Currently retired and focussing on my hobby.Did change to D300 and D80.
Can anyone help? Is there a 1.4 or other converter that will work with the 80-400Vr lens.?

I found the Nikon TC worked with the 80-400VR but it was the 2x. I have personal use with this and found it very soft using a D80. So maybe the 1.4 Nikkor will work fine, I have not tested it. But will be in Africa in March.

I had a look at your iternary,but will miss you.
did it have auto focus.

Yes auto focus worked fine on the D80, have not tried the later camera's.
