You could probably mount it though I can't say for sure because I do not own any of the newer Nikkors, but as far as compatibility goes, it is like apples and oranges. The FM2 has no provision for autofocus, nor does it have any contacts for the camera to communicate with the lens. The FM2 uses the very common rotating ring around the lens mount with the AI prong. If you are looking for compatible lenses that will make the most of the camera's capabilities, you will need to look at the AI and AIS Nikkors and Series E lenses, which are outstanding lenses in nearly every sense of the word.
