This is fx without crop, shot with 60mm and 2x tc on D700.
Would like to see how much less will fill your frame. I know many of you can beat this. Is it possible to get just the camera icon to fill an entire fx sensor?

OK, so how did the camera figure out the focal length was 125mm on your 90mm macro lens?
Yes, it's possible. You just need the right gear. My best is roughly 15.7:1.
I used a Tokina 17/3.5, reversed on a PB-6 bellows at max 236mm extension, with an additional 68mm of extension with a set of Kenko tubes. The vignetting is a result of a step-down ring between the lens and the bellows.
Amazing stuff. Such a clean and crisp shot.
It's actually a focus stack.
Focus stack on flat paper? Approximately how thin is the dof at that level of macro?
90mm + 1.4TC + Raynox MSN-505OK, so how did the camera figure out the focal length was 125mm on your 90mm macro lens?
90mm + 1.4TC + Raynox MSN-505
KenkoOk, one last question (for now anyway ), is it a Tamron TC or some other vendor?
