Dear Nikonites,
A few weeks ago I jumped into photography by buying myself a brand new D90, and I'm enjoying it more each day.
The choice for Nikon was helped a lot by the fact that my father still had some lenses laying around. Right now I'm already using his Series E 50mm f1.8 and Series E 100mm f2.8, yet he has this third lens which he used for the same old film camera as the E series... It's a 'performance optics zoom' 80-200mm telephoto lens (images below).
I'm a bit afraid to use this lens without confirmation that it is compatible with the D90. It looks like it has the same mount as the E series, which the manuals state as being safe to use. Any opinions?
Kind regards,
Niels
