remote shutter control

I would like to know if the , MC-DC2 used with my 7000 will work with the 300s ?
I also have a ML-L3 that works with the 7000 but don't really like it but will it work?

About to take a night photg. class and need a remote for the 300s I know the 7000 has better ISO but i just don't like it ....

What the heck are you trying to achieve if I may ask sir? You shooting B&W? Astronomy?

Surely both of these devices you have will work for either camera.

Eye-Level, But to day i found my MC-DC2 and I was right it will not work with the 300s.The 300s uses the MC-30. Just placed a order for one. I will be using this for night photog. long exp. with out me having to touch the camera.
