Hi everyone, I'm new here and I am very glad I have found a community dedicated to all things Nikon. I just bought a D5300 a few days ago and have noticed over multiple days that autofocus accuracy is not very good when using the viewfinder/phase detect. It seems to back focus pretty significantly compared to live view which looks tack sharp to me.
Here are some sample images, all were taken with the same exposure settings and indoors although I've noticed similar behavior outdoors.. Would it be worth sending my D5300 and 35 1.8 for an AF calibration by Nikon?
