The previous post is EXACTLY what I am talking about, its offering you a link to their software which is a TRIAL version so will do sod all unless you part with your money to get 100% functionality. What is the point of offering a DEMO version that could spend hours scanning your damaged device to just show you some thumbnails that shows what 'might' be recovered then asking you to buy the full version so you then actually recover your data. So wasting more time that you might not be able to afford or stress about losing your data
I love the part that suggests how good their recovery software is when compared to other software, but also refuses to name the recovery software its tested against. Preferring to call them nameless 'products' .... Plenty of reviews I read and software comparisons also name their competitors when testing so what have they to hide. And the hoops to jump through to get a refund is laughable
Yes, I hate spamming software adverts that end up wasting your cash and your time and possible losing even more data instead of actually helping you, and frequently installing 'helpful' adware software in the background
This link is to 100% FREE software, that actually does work, that actually does recover your data without a pointless exercise in time wasting and without flogging their 'trail' software to do sod all about your lost data and your lost hair
Recuva - Undelete, Unerase, File and Disk Recovery - Free Download
If you download this version you can put it on a USB drive so you can run it without installing ANY software, which any decent company will tell you is a no-no if you have data loss on a device. The worst thing you can do is try to install software on a damaged device to try and recover data from it. The more you write data to that device the more you risk losing yet more data you possibly cannot afford to lose
Recuva - Builds
It works, I use it. If it didn't work I would delete it straight away. Yes, I do have commercial software I have bought but also use some FREE software that offers a good result for those that need something quick
If you have heard of, or use CCleaner its by the same authors. I've used CCleaner for literally years with no data loss and no issues. And I run CCleaner with full access to my registry and system files
No, I DO NOT have any links to their software I just suggest what I use based on my results and problems from past experience. If a software don't work I don't use it. And will happily say why
