Re: Marilynne's Wetlands and Other Stuff - 2020

Rode our bikes to Wako this morning. To hot to walk around with a mask on so Chris sat on a wet bench (rained last night) while I shot this Octopus fungus. Some lady asked me what I was shooting and I said "octopus fungus". She called to her husband to come look at the "octopus fungus. It's really a Latticed Stinkhorn (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clathrus_ruber).

I think this popcorn fungus is going to turn into a Latticed Stinkhorn.

I tried to get Chris to smile. He hasn't been feeling well the last couple of days. He's better now.

Chris?? I thought I was looking at a photo of a skinny Jerry Garcia! Give that man a guitar!

Seriously, it's good to know he is feeling well enough to smile!

Thanks Wayne! Just checked the last shots of JG don't have curly hair.

Approaching nine months on no haircut/beard trim. Can't take the mask off for a beard trim so he's not getting his hair cut.
