    200mm f2.0

    200mm f2.0
I hadn't used this lens for a while - I kinda go in and out of love with it - well, I never go out of love with it, but my shoulder does and some venues for weddings don't have the room for me to use this lens sometimes.... but I was approached again by an Australian Bridal mag to do some pics for them so thought it was the perfect time to get the old girl back out, strap up my shoulder and use it in anger.

Every time I start using this lens again I am blown away by just how absolutely brilliant it is.... bearing in mind how far back I need to stand to use this lens, this is a screenshot of just the eyes and face of the fullsize image...

Beautiful image and a phenomenal lens. Kevin, did you ever use the Nikon 180mm f/2.8 AF-D lens? If so, I'm wondering how the images compare - especially bokeh.

Hi Cindy - sadly I never used the 180mm lens... Might have to post some more of these images... just used it in my last 3 weddings too... I am sure I am compensating for something... ha.

I should pull out my 180mm lens and take some images with it. It's been packed away in one of my bags with lenses I seldom use. I do recall the bokeh being extremely nice.
