Bracketing

I'm shooting with a D850 and since I started shooting more landscapes I've also been bracketing my shots (usually a group of 5) for HDR stacking in post. However, I'm also shooting single shots interspersed with the brackets.

Can the D850 rename a bracket series to make them obvious (eg DSC-45-1.NEF, DSC 45-2.NEF.... DSC45-5.NEF)? Or failing that, what techniques are people using to delineate the start/end of a bracket series?

Thanks!

I don't know how to rename the files in camera, but Scott Kelby suggests taking a pic of your finger between bracketed sets. :)

Someone on Nikonites used to shoot his foot between brackets. I want to say Don K (RIP).
