FX or DX

Conclusion:
1) Use an FX it is better due to larger pixels and what camera companies do with them (since they can). You just have to frame the picture correctly, use the correct lens.
2) If you have to crop, do it with a high level crop DX body, it will outperform any FX with lower pixel density (mostly the case even with a D810) even at higher ISO.

When I look at what I can do with my D7200 (remember I started photography in the days of manual everything film), I can't see an significant reason to switch to FX.

One of each with same control layout will always be my go to kit.....

The one thing that FX can do that DX can't is exposure preview in Live Mode. That feature is great for shooting in demanding situations.

Most people will have enough with their mobile phone, a D3X00 or D5X00, there is no point for them to look at FX. The video is about absolute quality, but mostly this is misguided and only applicable for a few professionals and very picky hobbyists that can put the money in.
Honestly I believe the D7200 is probably allready overkill for many.
