Does anyone use Wix?

Does anyone use wix for their website? They have a 1/2 off sale going that sounds good. Anything good or bad about them? Anything known about better deals?

I always build my own websites for scratch but from what I have heard Wix is a pretty good drag and drop website creator. Just remember that you are limited to the designs they have.

Scroll down, and look at the different galleries...

I would say the lady that maintains this site, although an accomplished photographer, is a barely above a novice with regard to web sites...

My website is hosted by Wix and I have a love hate relationship with them. Their site building tools are not very expansive and they are also not always the most intuitive. But for $6 a month I really can't complain

They are good for personal websites but they are totally unsuitable for any kind of commercial site.

I appreciate the replies. I used to have the time to do the websites myself, but that has not been for a lot of years. Between work, college and training my Doberman, there is not enough hours in the day. I will look into Wix, I just want something easy to display the photos on.

I have been thinking the same thing. I would like to set up a website where I can display photos and hopefully sell prints. I'm a complete website novice so don't really know where to start.
I also see squarespace pushed quite a lot by various youtube photographers.

Hi, I used Wix for my website, I looked at others and found them to have the most templates which can be easily modified for your use. The help desk is good and they also have an excellent Facebook page
