Watermark or not Watermark

Hello all,

I just delivered my first maternity photos to a client. Gave the client a Free 8x10 canvas and DVD with all best photos in higher resolution but with a light watermark on the corner of my business name.

But, client said "hey I would like to email some photos to my grandparents but without watermark for printing. I said sure, just let me know which ones....

So, how do you guys usually handle these situations ?

If you don't have a problem with them printing them then whether you have the watermark or not is a personal preference. Some places will not print a photo it is is copyrighted.

My clients buy the photo's when they book me. So I provide images without watermarks for them. But others have different business models they use. Up to you entirely.

Hmm tough tough i let the watermark because i want my name to be seen or heard. I charged really cheap because they are friends. If they ask me for more than 10 photos, should i charge them ? Any idea how much ? Also where do i find a sample for the "rights to print" ?
