Ok ... I will give this a try
winter scene near my house.... any thoughts??

I like the mood/feel of the shot. Good exposure and I like the composition as well. The one thing that irks me, and Pete may agree, is that the angle of the fence in the background makes he image look slightly tilted to the left. Then again, if you fixed that then the trees may look like they're leaning heavily to the right...

Overall I like the shot! And welcome!

Winter? Already? it was 86 here today.

Great shot! Love the comp. And yes, it's quite the "moody" shot. Love it. Definitely a wall hanger.

Thank you for looking everyone. Unfortunately the fence on the other side of the field just runs downhill like that. I chose portrait because the trees framed the scene in a more appealing manner.

I really like the shot but I would like to see more detail in the foreground.
