Been trying to convert a few to b/w any comments good or bad will be taken as intended thanxView attachment 206674

Seems a bit 'harsh' to me. The dark spot at the water's edge is rather disturbing. I'm seeing some striations in both the sky and the water.

You need to clean your sensor as well.

Agreed, lots of dust bunnies that need cleaning.

The image is strong, but maybe a tad too much contrast or sharpening or something....

got the balls to do it myself

Cleaning your sensor is super-easy. Just make sure you don't try to cheap out and use household stuff like paint brushes and cotton swabs. Get yourself some commercially-available stuff, do it right and never worry.

You really really really really really really have to try hard to mess it up.

I like what you did with the second image you posted. I am puzzled at the Exif data, however. What metric system are you using? Ha!

I agree. The second pic is much better. (I don't know about much more better though)

Thats 1 hell of a zoom you've got there...

I like the cleaned up image. In my opinion, it is too contrasty and the foreground is not very interesting, I would try cropping it out. Might be a good candidate for the newly free Nix Silver Effects Pro.

Probably not worth the two cents, but there it is.

I like it, but maybe I'd crop the bottom foreground out - I'm also not near.y experienced enough to to judge tho lol..
