Fiddling with Photoshop

Practising to maybe one day be a portrait/family photographer. Took this photo at the park. Let me know what you think and what you would have done differently, I really appreciate the feedback.

personally i am not a fan of the washed out colors and blown out highlights. I know that is a style now but I just don't like it.

I like it on this photo and children photography in general.

I'm seeing a definite green color-cast. I'd also like to see less busyness in the background and possibly a little tighter crop on this shot.

I would like to see this in portrait orientation and with the feet included in the frame. Focus looks good but cannot be 100% due to the size. Not sure about the WB would like it warmer and not as Paul has said greenish in colour.

Well seems strange that you ask for feedback then remove said photo. Guess I will not be offering any more advice if thats what you are going to do.

Could you upload the picture again, as we can't see it.

While I can't say for sure it's what is happening here, I think we all know many assume feedback means praise.

All I can say about it is that the white background really over powers the photo. Was it taken in a snowstorm?
