Just overall. You don't even have to pick 10, that might be too much to ask. Just the ones that you think might be good enough to exhibit.

P.S. I put the Paypal button on there just for fun. I doubt that most people will even find my website:)

It would be very much better, if you placed the images in this thread :) And the ones you are having doubts about, you could ask for specific feedback on.

Nevertheless, I like these:

Image 1-2
Image 2-16
Image 4-1

Also this, but not so happy with the background on right side:

Image 4-8

This one I think is to dark: Image 3-5
And this, the sky are to bright, you dont really notice the eagles head: Image 3-3

But all in all, fine images, some more clear than others - and some appeals more to me, of course, a matter of taste :)

Hi Alan, I really should not be critiqueing your stuff... but... I will share a couple thoughts...

Fave's (no special order)

1-2
2-16
10-1 (Like rustic - maybe a B&W/Sepia rendition could be effective - clean that green object (lower left) out...
4-1

Also, I like 11-1 for it's "cuteness)

3-3 This could have been/be really great... agree with WUD on the background and would prefer to be cropped tighter (understanding issues if you already have cropped as much as practical.....) Also, the feathers of the body are too dark and low detail... brighten that shadow area...

4-8 I like the effect of the composition but the white along the left border does not have enough detail for me... I would "try" to reduce exposure there to get more detail and clarity and try to subdue the green background on the right. The "graduated filter" in LR5 may help on that...

Merry Christmas Alan!

Hey Pat, I need all of the help I can get. I have not gotten to the point that photography is a passion so it is hard for me to judge. I also do almost no editing in Photoshop, so pretty much what I took is what I get.

I edited 3-5 to try to make it lighter, but I took this in the shade and the leaves in the background were dark so might not be able to do much more. I would really like to save 4-8. I tried to burn the sky, but it was unrealistic. So I stopped down the exposure and dodged the eagle to bring out some highlight. This is about as good as I can do it:)

What do you think?
