Took this photo of my wife Katie as she sat enjoying the sun. I have added a filter to it as I wanted a poster kind of look so its a bit over the top I know

Thank you......

It could have been better with more work like a reflector to take away shadows etc but it was pretty much on the spur of the moment

Yes I am the same I don't really like crooked photos and this was taken straight I just thought it added to the impact a bit by tilting it

Well, it is easily fixed in PS with a little help of fill and "content aware". I might suggest you crop out a little bit of the wall. That yellow is very bright and it is competing with your wife for the viewer's attention.

Thank you for the edit.... but it was straight to start with with no photoshop work I 'added' the title as I preferred it that way

I like the original composition as is, although, I find the exposure a bit over the top for my taste, but hey thats just me. The fly away hairs across her glasses could also be cloned out. Other than that nice shot.

Yes it is way over the top which was me trying to give it a poster type look

I agree about the hair they are annoying also the shadow under her chine... but it was pretty much on the spur of the moment so I wont beat myself up about it

Original for me also. Personally, the yellow is just too bright for my eyes. I'd tone it down as it competes to much with your wife for attention.

Thank you... yes maybe it needs toning down a bit but I was going for a pop poster style - if that makes sense
