This is an image where near to far sharpness could have been a huge benefit. The depth of field is
way too shallow. The railing provides a good leading line, but it really does not actually
lead to anything. A leading line should lead the viewer's eyes right to your image's
subject.
In my photograph below, the boardwalk also provides a good leading line, but it leads to my subject; a pier with 2 benches and a person (my wife actually) sitting on one of the benches.
