RAVPower batteries for D7500 - comments?
I ordered my new D7500 and am anxiously awaiting its arrival. Shopping for extra batteries, I found a RAVPower package with 2 batteries and charger for $34.99. That's cheaper than just one OEM battery.

Normally, I would be skeptical of third-party batteries, but I have found several reviews and they all seem positive. One site (batteryfocus) ranked the Top 10 and RAVPower was #1. They seem to be well-engineered with several levels of protection.
I did a search here at Nikonites and most battery threads were several years old. Has anyone used these RAVPower batteries and care to offer insight?
Thank you.

I purchased the same set from Neewer on Amazon in May... I think they're excellent... the double USB-C charger is better than the single, slow 110v Nikon charger...

I have a RAV Power charger that is a USB charger - and it's excellent although no experience with the particular charger you mentioned.
My D500 came with a Nikon EN-EL 15b battery which offers a few more shutter actuations than the EN-EL 15a battery used in many other Nikon bodies. But since the EN-EL 15a is the one Nikon ships with the D7500, most likely the RAV Power batteries and charger will be exceptional. Nice find!pnomanikon Thanks/liked this post

My 2 RavPower batteries and USB charger arrived several days ago. I plugged the USB into a low power wall charger for an old phone, and the batteries were charged in just a few hours. I put one in the D7500 and took a few photos, then it sat in the case for a few days before shooting about 50 shots today. The battery meter on the camera still shows fully charged, so I'm optimistic.
I like the USB charger, so I can charge batteries in the car.
When I completed the online warranty registration, it shows a 12-month warranty and 180 days free return shipping. Oh, and there was $3 off, so it cost $31.99 with free shipping. Sounds fair to me.
I will update after using both batteries for a full cycle.BeegRhob Thanks/liked this post
